Let us help you embark on an adventure that knows no limits. Please note private insurance will be required, if  you are not a registered charitable group hiring one of our fleet.

Booking a Group Trip
At Ryedale Community Transport we have a dedicated team of staff who understand the difficulties many of us experience getting out and about, either on individual journeys or when organising group travel.

We are a charity, not a commercial business, so we do not operate for profit. Our volunteers and staff are here to help you. We aim to provide safe, accessible, cost-effective transport for individuals and non-profit making groups and local organisations.

We operate a fleet of vehicles with a maximum seating capacity of 16 seats and a number of wheelchair accessible vehicles.
Drivers
Your group can provide your own driver if you have one, or we can provide drivers if required.
Self-drive hire
All drivers must have a D1 category on their licence and be trained according to the Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme (MiDAS).
It is free for groups to join the scheme
Just call us and register your organisation.
Destinations
We are happy to discuss many destinations, but cannot guarantee to travel very long distances.
Eligibility
Schools, charitable organisations, religious groups, common interest groups, sports teams, youth groups and community groups etc. are eligible.

We cannot provide services for profit-making organisations.
Costs
The cost is based on vehicle usage and the mileage travelled. We can estimate the cost of a specific journey but please be accurate with your time and destination. An estimate is just that: the cost is calculated based on the information given and additional time and mileage will be charged accordingly. Please call for details, and we will work out the most cost-effective pricing for you. The quote will be valid for 30 days.
How to Apply
Call us and describe your transport requirements with our trained operators including any critical times or special requirements. You will then receive a quote for the journey and can simply book the vehicle over the phone. An application form can then be completed by post or e-mail and use the online application form.
