What is the Ryedale Rover?
The Ryedale Rover is an on-demand small bus service which operates across Ryedale. As a charity our aim is to provide an affordable service in order to enable those isolated at home because of lack of available transport to move around our District and improve their wellbeing.
There are no set routes, instead vehicles are allocated to different areas each day.
Weekly markets and farm shops are examples of popular destinations but we are open to suggestions from residents as to where they would like to visit. Seats have to be pre-booked by 2.30pm the day before the journey.
The service collects from local dedicated collection points.
