Ryedale Carers Support is a local voluntary organisation and registered charity that provides practical and emotional help for carers, the people they care for and older people living on their own. The service is provided by volunteers who can visit weekly, fortnightly or monthly for a couple of hours or so.

Sight Support Ryedale are an independent charity offering support to anyone in the Ryedale area of North Yorkshire who has a serious sight problem. This charity has been helping people with visual impairment since 1994, and now provides a wide range of support and activities, including fortnightly social groups, information and advice, excursions, an annual escorted holiday, walking group, Yoga sessions, book group, computer training, and supply or loan of aids and equipment.
