On Wednesday 3 April we received the Duke of York’s Community Initiative Award at a ceremony in Catterick.
Representing Ryedale Community Transport, and with the honour of meeting Prince Andrew himself, were from Left to right:
Hugh Morgan, who started with RCT as a volunteer minibus driver and is now Deputy Chair of Trustees
John Cunningham , who has been a volunteer car scheme driver with RCT for 21 years and has clocked up an impressive 2,661 car scheme journeys to date. He is still going strong and hopes to reach 3,000 before he retires.
